Template:Ventoran class/doc

The template {{Ventoran class}} displays a Ventoran social class or noble rank and links to that section on the social class in Ventora page.

Usage

To use this template, place {{Ventoran class|1|display=display}} in the article where it is to display. Be sure to replace 1 with the social class or noble rank. The display parameter is optional. If omitted it defaults to the 1 parameter (social class or noble rank); otherwise it will display the text used in place of display.

Parameters

There is one positional parameter and one named paraemter.

• 1 for the social class (required)
• display to display different text (optional; defaults to the social class parameter)

Positional param 1 (specific guideline)

The positional parameter (1) is required. It links to a heading or anchor in the article. The following may be used for parameter 1:

• Baron, baron, Baroness, baroness
• Base class, base class
• Count, count, Countess, countess
• Duke, duke, Duchess, duchess
• Middle class, middle class
• Nobility, nobility
• Non-titled nobles, non-titled nobles
• Titled nobles, titled nobles
• Upper class, upper class
• Working class, working class

Note: If an improper value is specified for parameter 1, the template simply links to the article. If no value is provide, the template fails.

Display

Providing a value for display= will display the specified text while linking to the section identified in parameter 1. Wiki markup (e.g., '' before and after to italicize) may be used.
